Are you serious? Merrill has a voice and style all his own and I absolutely love it.

He never tells you what the time is on the game clock. He spots the ball two yards from where it actually is spotted on many plays. The time business kills me because when I’m listening on the car radio I don’t have a tv screen to tell me the time. I get you all love him but he doesn’t have it anymore. When he’s retired you’ll forget about him the way I forgot about Bill Campbell when Harry Kalas replaced him.
