  • The NFL might have jumped the shark tonight.

This is embarrassing. Long trip, bad field and two teams that did not play starters in the preseason because that had to do this. The league has now proven money is the goal. This combined with the awful display of the league on behalf of the Chiefs shows this is all theater.

I totally disagree. This is an awesome demonstration of the NFL's worldwide reach.

Crowd seems thrilled - not. Are they using canned applause?

The top European soccer teams all play games in the US to increase exposure. They all complain the fields are below what they are used to. They play these games in the pre season because they don't want to cheapen their product for a little more money. The NFL does not care.

Eventually the Premier League will add an extra game and play them in the USA. There’s too much money for them to leave it on the table.

"Now" hahaha. Anyway, it makes no sense if they are so determined to expand globally as well as length of season why they have not expanded roster size one bite. Oh yeah Money, nm. Not playing in the preseason hurts because you're trying to protect ur starting 22, it is limiting. Change the roster size to accommodate but that costs the OWNERS
