Ya that was purely scripted. Tyson took a $20 mill payday to throw that fight.

If that was scripted, the writers forgot to make anything happen.

I sincerely think J Paul's corner asked Tyson not to beat the shit out of the young kid,,,and Tyson truly looked Old in rounds 5678....This was for the money,,all it was.

I think people are reading way too much into Mike’s 30 second Tik Tok training videos. I can’t get my mind around the 60 year old dude being the one who threw the fight here.

From where I was sitting, it looked like Tyson went into survival mode when he lost his legs. He used the short rounds to his advantage, and covered up well enough to keep Paul from getting any clean shots. The old man actually fought a pretty smart fight, knowing that going the distance, and being the only fighter Paul failed to put on the canvass, was all the victory he really needed.

If the thing had been scripted, there would have been some fireworks and the narrative for a potential rematch would have been set.

I never watched any of the Videos. Just know boxing is like any other sport..your not going to be as good as someone who started when they were 7 YO's...I think in the 1st 2 rounds if Mike wanted to; he could have put himself at risk; went inside after the Kid,,,but in the end his legs were gone before he got into the ring...Mike did good not letting him punch him in the side of the head, Paul has 5 inches of reach on Mike...Tyson should never get into a ring again,,,well not as part of a ticket. Money money money,,,tell me anyone in here wouldn't like 20 mill for 8 rounds.

Tyson biting his glove everytime he just wanted to tee off. It was fucking comical. When it happened the first time, only thing I could picture was my old ass Aunt biting her knuckle when she wanted to lose her shit on someone.

Jake didn't win that fight. Mike didn't lose a payday.

Ali versus the Japanese wrestler is what the fight reminded me of.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.
