Absolutely the best decision. For Barkley to get the record, most of the starters would need to play. Just not worth risking an injury to one of the key players.

better make a deep run in the playoffs or this will be an egregious error. It's not everyday you get a chance to break a 40 year record especially against the team that threw you away publicly. If they go one and done this would be a huge disaster both ways. Superbowls aren't guaranteed and but Saquon deserves a chance to break the record and the team and franchise is letting him down. They should be beating the door down to play to get him the record.

Yes injuries can happen, can also happen in the playoffs on 1 play. We are going to have a QB who hasn't played in a game in 3 weeks he is going to be rusty an our offense will probably look off so they should get a few series to get some game action.
