... had a pretty great scene with Jon Hamm and Billy Bob in last night's Landman. Really nicely written, and Jones (surprisingly) nailed it.

Agreed. He was actually pretty good; then again, he’s always lying so acting show be a breeze for him. Also, the show is much better than I expected, but last night’s episode was pretty bad.

The episode set up both the coming shitstorm with the cartel, and Cooper's storyline (which will tie into Jerruh's speech), well.

The ex-wife and daughter storylines bore me to death and kill the show's momentum (unless Billy Bob is around, then they can be pretty damn funny).

Sucks to see Hamm gone, but you could tell right away from the billing he got that he wasn't going to be a full time character.

And Demi Moore? I think Jerruh had 10x the lines she did in just one scene. Yeah, the eye candy stuff is beyond old at this point…
