    The Fix Is In

I'm thrilled the Eagles are back in the Super Bowl but I feel like the outcome has already been determined by the NFL after watching the Chiefs/Bills game last night. The NFL seems to be in love with the idea of a Chiefs 3-peat or the Travis Kelce/Taylor Swift storyline. There were two egregious calls in the game last night that both went the Chiefs way. One call was the refs denying Josh Allen the first down on the 4th down play. I've watched the play in slow motion numerous times and I'm convinced that Allen had the first down. The announcers of the game both thought that Allen had the first down as did the ref who had the best view of the play. However he was overruled by a ref who, from where he was standing only saw a mass of bodies. The other call was when Xavier Worthy was credited with a catch that wasn't. Neither Worthy or the Bills defender had control of the ball when both players hit the ground and to add insult to injury the ball hit the turf which made it an incomplete pass but of course the refs ruled Worthy had caught the ball. I really do believe the NFL has instructed their referees to find ways to ensure a Chiefs win but the refs make sure that their calls and non-calls are judgement calls that could go either way, such as roughing the passer, pass interference and calls like the ones that went the Chiefs way yesterday. I sure hope that I'm wrong but I think the outcome of the Super Bowl has already been determined.

This is what living in Buffalo is like today.

At least one person in Buffalo went to bed happy.

I've been a Philly sports fan for my entire life and a huge Eagles fan. I'm thrilled they are in the Super Bowl but I think it should be obvious to everyone that the NFL wants a Chiefs 3-peat. I don't know if it's because of the Travis Kelce/Taylor Swift romance with all of her fans or the fact that the NFL seems to always have a qb who is their golden boy. For years that qb was Tom Brady but now it appears to be Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs got all of the favorable calls and non-calls when they needed them this past season and I don't expect that to change in the Super Bowl. I really hope that I'm wrong but we'll just have to wait and see.

You're so worried about the storyline that you don't see the breakup history and the next album.... "He was once a Chief..."
