this is underground stuff...Now with google U can just look it up..Im pretty sure they had Roy Harper come into the studio because he was on local recording himself...and sing the track because neither waters or Gilmour thought thier voices matched.
I did see Waters at the Rectum with Clapton on lead guitar play Have a cigar...best version I ever saw!

I was at that show too. It was pretty good. Too bad Waters seems to have turned into a lunatic.

I have the recording,,,that was the famous "Stop fucking whistling" Show...So fucking funny..Clapton walks over to John and says, "This is America! you can't say that to them! Appologize!" Waters walks up to the Mic..."I'm Sorry" like a little school Boy! Loved it.....That concert had some killer tunes. Set the controls for the heart of the Sun, Careful with that Ax Eugene! Have a cigar, Welcome to the Machine. I got a little black book with my Poems in......and of course all the other Wall tunes...and pros and cons of Hichhiking....That was the last time I ever went to see Waters...and never will again.

I was thinking that this was going to be a post about Lurie seeking to buy the Celtics and emulating Red Auerbach. I guess I don't care as much since the Sixers are pathetic and will be for the next decade. After that I'm probably dead.

One of my favorite trivia questions. Nobody ever gets it.

I've seen Floyd without Waters (Momentary Lapse, Orange Bowl in Miami, 1987... in the pouring rain) and Waters without Floyd (In the Flesh, MSG, 2000). Waters was decent, but Gilmour/Wright/Mason put on a much better show across the board. The downpour made it especially awesome.

I think Momentary lapse would have been one of their best albums if Waters was still in the group...Seen Floyd 9 times,,Gilmour Twice, Roger once....lol
Was fortunate enough to see the Wall at Nasau Coliseum Feb 25th; think it was 81..but can't remeber...lol Wonder why..The show was Amazing,,but very little else from their catalog...For years I complained I didnt see Animals.....My brother went..I was to young...

I was at JFK in 87 front row out of 107K people...My GF wouldn't let me trip...and they opened the show with Fucking Echos!!!!!! Never forget my drummer deaf as a doornail tripping balls screaming at me..."Its Echos, They are playing fucking Echos!"
Then into Shine On,,,1st parts,,,came out for the encor and finished it!!!! Might go down as one of the best shows I've Ever Seen!
PS: I had liquid in my top pocket......and everyone around me was ummm....kissing the Sky!

We camped out at the Willow Grove Mall for tickets to the JFK show... greatest all-night parking lot party I've ever seen. I wasn't able to get back to Philly for the show (I was 16, living in Florida, going a lot of driving/flying back and forth). Always bummed I missed that one.

I actually love Momentary Lapse. It's not Meddle or Dark Side of Animals or WYWH, but it's one of my favorite rock albums of the 80s. 1987 was just a killer year to be alive.
