Much tougher road this season compared to others

The NFC was a joke in 04.

Bye in 17, got a bit of a break facing the Falcons, then Case Keenum in the NFCCG.

In 2022 they basically had three byes.

Facing the Packers in the wild card round this year was no joke. The matchups fell their way in the next two rounds IMO, but facing Matthew Stafford and Jayden Daniels is much tougher than facing Daniel Jones and Vick/Keenum/no QB at all.

I don't think we've ever seen an Eagles team beat as many legitimate opponents as this one in the combined regular and postseason. Gotta make it count.

Would it be impolite to point up the regular season difficult season? (6 playoff teams and AFC North) next year crossover with AFC West

Last season we beat the Chiefs, the Bills, the pukes, the Bucs, the Rams, the Dolphins, all playoff teams and the Chiefs Super Bowl champs. It just goes to show.

Not at all. I think the Bengals was also a quality win. Unreal what this defense was able to do to both Cincy and Baltimore.

That's pretty incredible... especially when you consider the fact that we knew, or at least strongly suspected, that team was a house cards.

Rams were one of the hottest teams in the league coming into Philly. Their only loss in seven weeks was a meaningless game against Seattle with their starters on the bench. They were playing damn good ball down the stretch.

For sure. I really wanted to avoid TB in the divisional round, but the Rams were no gimme.

And that is a good thing. I always believed that in sports you will only improve if you face better competition. (I also believe that you will only improve in life if you surround yourself with better people.)

I did not want the Eagles to face Tampa even at home in 30*F temperatures.
