Williams and Sweat are the only Dline FAs, and neither are game changing players. Not so sure we lose both or either.

I've never seen anything like what Fangio did this year. Lost Reddick and Cox, had two rookies in the secondary, lost Graham and Dean for periods of time, and he took the defense from one of the absolute worst in the league to the best in the league. I don't think any other DC couldn't gotten the kind of performance that he did from this group. This was the best Eagles defense of my lifetime.

Yep this team had some dominating defenses over the years - the Swamp Fox, Buddy Ryan, Jim Johnson, Gannon. But none shut down the other team when it really counted - until Fangio.

I thought this too....I saw our cap numbers last night...Howie will have to pull a rabbit out of a hat...Teams want him at Tackle..So the Iggles have to sit him down and say,,,we will give you tackle Money,,,and after next year When Lane Johnson retires..you move to Rt tackle...and ................Stoutland Baby!

Losing Cox and Reddick were blessings. Carter became top dog and Reddick showed that he was in it for himself.

By the end of last season, the Eagles had the worst defense I'd ever seen. Give Howie a ton of credit for drafting Q, Coop, and Hunt, while bringing back CJGJ, signing Baun, and even getting Oren Burks (who was great in the playoffs)... but what Fangio did with these guys is the stuff of absolute legends. You're never going to see a turnaround like this again.
