I would guess Gannon got a job instead of Spags because he was seen as and up-and-coming, just like Moore and Steichen. I see Spags as being more like Fangio. A DC for life after not being great as a head coach. I also wouldn't expect Nagy to get much interest after how his tenure in Chicago went.
I had to look this up but I was surprised to see that Spags is only a year younger than Fangio.

Hurts clearly had some nagging injury that he played through all year, but Brian Johnson's offense was really bad conceptually. I just re-watched this the other day, and it's amazing the difference having a real coordinator (and Saquon) made this season. Night and day.
