I did not want to see Howie overpay and give away our young talent and draft capital for 1 player. As good as he is this young core we have is incredible.

the Cowboys never had a chance. They are going to be in salary cap hell and have a lot of holes to fill. My worry was Washington taking a swing at him and Howie doing something to overpay and block it. Cleveland is such a dumb franchise and continues to make poor decisions. he won't. Sweat averages 7 sacks a year, 2 of those years being the product of having double and triple teams on Carter. Sweat had a great SB but he isn't really a game wrecker and not worth $20 - 25+ million on the Dline. 7 sacks a year can easily be replaces as long as Carter is down the middle.
