First off: just want to acknowledge that I was torn between attending the game or watching it with my fellow Igglephans either at home or in Philly. I made the decision to go to the game after regretting not taking the Jacksonville trip.
What a scene. Met Sellen but weather plus my nearly-top row seats prevented me from hooking up with Dim and Dim jr. maybe they are still in town.
Eagles fans took that place over. To say that the Patriots fans were lukewarm is the understatement of the year. What a bunch of posers. Brady Amendola and Gronkowski jerseys only. Felt a bit bad for Pats family next to us with clueless preteens asking stupid questions of their dad all night.
Not much more to say other than I screamed for each one of us last night, met (and hugged) lot of cool people, and hope each of you savor and enjoy the victory (and parade!) as much as I have. Lots of tears this morning reading posts I didn’t read last night and hearing what the players and coaches said.
