that part seems like a no-brainer. DE price has gone way down and the eagles capitalized on their quality locker room. Bennett should have no problem fitting in there and perhaps channeling some of his own activism with Long, Jenkins, etc.
Curious if they try to trade Vinny for a late rounder or not. Not sure anyone wants his contract.

He isn't an activist but an outright liar. Don't like this deal as this team was one that everybody could root for and was a good team. He adds little on the field to what we already have and more potential for BS off the field.

But I’m going to give the reigning SUPER BOWL WORLD CHAMPIONS some benefit of the doubt. A wait and see approach
kind of weird that they were talking about curry being a cap casualty, but they trade for an older, more expensive guy. i obviously see why seattle took the deal. they moved up 2 rounds and got rid of bennett's contract. on the other hand, we've got a one-year rental who's going to be better than curry. imo curry is just average. bennett could be in decline but is above average.
worst case locker room scenario is bad. best case locker room scenario is something like you saw with blount here (or when he went back to the pats after his disastrous stint in pittsburgh).

He's better then Vinny Curry, or at least was the last time he was on the field. At 32, he is certainly not on the way up, but you are letting your politics get in the way if you don't see this as making a dline more formidable.
I'm not overly concerned with the locker room. They have so many strong voices, I think Bennett will be handled appropriately. Vinny will also be 30 (I think) when the season starts, so there isn't a massive age differential. Also, cutting Curry gives 5 mil, so the cap hit isn't that significant.

but I am also considering Barber being another years improvised and the possibility of drafting a player to develop rather than a high priced guy on a decline
