Imagine what he could command on the market now? He may have been a bit slow to get going, but he became a clutch receiver down the stretch. The fact he extended during the season speaks loudly that he wanted to be a part of a winner and saw a great opportunity for his future here with Carson and Doug, regardless of what he could have made as a FA. He also has balls, BIG BALLS, people were complaining when he guaranteed the SB W after we trounced the Vikes. Guy is a fucking legend.
Also, his comments throughout the season about not caring about his own stats and only being interested in the W speaks volumes. Not many elite WRs out there with that mentality.Comment
