My initial reaction to this ... and it's obviously only from what I read online ... is that the police officer who didn't arrest him or request backup, along with those who didn't further investigate for months, better fasten their fucking seatbelts when they take the stand.

No. If the function of a security guard at a high profile event is to secure an area, restrain or stop people if necessary, and ultimately, keep the event secure, you're not wrong at all. She can't perform any of these duties.

In this situation, the paraplegic security guard will require her own personal security guard for her own protection, which defeats the entire purpose of her being there. Unless she's there for show.
