As much as I love Sproles and want to see him succeed there is a chance he may have lost something that cannot be regained.

At the same time I would believe Pederson & Sproles have been talking and evaluating his progress.

His work ethic and the way he trains is a huge part of it

and from what I have read he's almost ready,,,guy has had few injuries in his career, and being a smaller back,,,he should be fine with his quickness and his moves,,,may take a few months to get it all the way back....if Peyton manning can have major Disc Surgery and make 2 more SB's then why not Sproles...Dougie and Jeffy are Elated!

They're not even competing for the same spot. Pumphrey is competing with Smallwood for the fourth RB spot... the Kenjon Barner role. Sproles is RB3.

Yes, he makes the team. So does Pumphrey, most likely. Teams don't give up on their picks as quickly as fans do (see Agholor, Nelson).
