Before cawkalum chimes in to tell us he’s the next Beltre, I’ll say Franco has the pitch recognition and approach of a little leaguer.

I agree. One interesting thing about the positional flexibility of players right now means that Franco can be moved this season if they want. Franco hasn't been terrible, but Machado would be a massive improvement.
