Seems like an interesting acquisition for the stretch run. Statistically not much different from Santana. Maybe someone else can explain exactly where he fits in.

that honestly surprises me. i was going by dWAR (which is 25% of that award), where santana has a -1.0 this year compared to -1.1 for bour. there's also not much of a difference here: https://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.as...ter=&players=0
bour even ranks a little higher. anyway, i think it's a good pickup. cabrera, ramos, bour...i like what they're doing down the stretch.Comment
