  • DeAndre Carter deserves a spot on final 53

Makes Paul Turner look like a little welfare case!

first 4 WRs are set. i don't see them cutting gibson. they'd have to keep 6 WRs, and i don't see carter returning kicks/punts with sproles active. i'd say there's no room for carter.

      Keep him over Smallwood.

Need to figure put a way to keep Carter and Jordan Mailata.

Have not been a Smallwood fan since day 1 but he looked decent last night. But last RB vs last WR should
Come down to who will make game day 45 as a special team specialist. I think Carter has shown promise on that front.

Something About that kid I love. Part is his story, I admit it.

He’s kind of player the fans love & lift up. We love underdogs/high effort guys. Throw in he’s actually a hell of a receiver and it’s a win/win.

Jordan Mialata would get snatched up for sure if we waive him. Can’t risk it. He has mad HUGE strides. May have stolen one there.

Not if they only keep three running backs instead of four. Adams goes to the practive squad. Ajayi, Clement and Sproles are enough on game day. Then they can carry 6 WRs.

Smallwood is the Jordan Matthews of running backs. Serviceable but no particular upside.

didn't they have 5 RBs active for a couple games after ajayi came over last year? i can't see them going from that to only 3 RBs, especially considering that dougie employed a 3-headed monster last year, with another RB for KR/PR. considering that sproles is 35 and coming off a torn ACL, i'd imagine that he'll be KR/PR, with 3 other guys getting the carries.

i agree that adams is going to the practice squad, but smallwood is too good to cut just yet. i don't think they want to let him go to another team.

Ya, pretty poor quality...but seems to love Mialata. Could be sweet if Peters retires next season.

Mialata seemed nothing more than a tinker toy from all accounts. Being that Baldy's an ex-OL guy, I'm inclined to take notice. I'm also inclined to re watch the game today.

They could easily go with Ajayi/Clement/Sproles. Probably better than having to spread carries over four guys. Carter can return kicks.

We'll have to agree to disagree on Smallwood. I guess he knows the offense but you can pick a guy like him up anytime. Ajayi was productive almost immediately.
