I was rooting for Washington yesterday, but in hindsight, the Dallas win was probably better.

I liked the thought of a "weak" Washington team in first place. But a victory would have been a sign that they could still win with McCoy, with a relatively easy remaining schedule. Considering how they looked yesterday, I would be surprised if the Skins finished better than 8-8.

I feel better about the Eagles' chances to get to 6-6 now. Also, Dallas has NO on Thursday night. Three teams at 6-6 at the end of next week is very likely. That's the best possible scenario.

#2 - What’s your logic? We still have 2 games against Washington, and would be 2 games back AND hold the tiebreaker. With Dallas we need help, but control our own fate with Washington

If and yes big IF, the Eagles win the next 3 they are in first place even if tied, they only have one NFC East loss to Dallas, the Cowboys will have 2 one to the birds and one to the skins.

Ok so the Scumbags won, now the Eagles road just got easier, win the next 3 and they are in first place alone or tied and own the tie breakers. Granted they still have to play the Rams and would need Scums to lose one more game somewhere.
