I almost flew to Chicago from here in London. My wife was going to let me since it was a playoff game but I just couldn't justify spending nearly $1200 for only two days (Sat dep and Mon return). The game tickets were about $250, and the flight and 2 nights in a very good hostel was about $700 and then about $300 for spending money. I was even going to try to fly into New York, bus down to Philly and board the Megabus to Chitown--but couldn't even find a cheap flight to New York.

dang, how the hell do you post a YouTube video that shows up here rather than just a link--------

By the way, this is how you do it.
You look at the URL for the YouTube video. It will end with "watch?v=blahblah"
You want to take the part after the "watch?v=" and copy that.
Then you want to put it in between these codes (which you have to type in)
First code *youtube] Replace the asterisk with the open bracket... had to do that because the software thinks I am inserting the code
Inbetween = the stuff after ""watch?v="
End code =
Here is an example. We have a typical youtube link here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQdnb0iRAQA
The part after the "watch?v=" is IQdnb0iRAQA
So we put that between the codes above (square brackets, not curly ones, no spaces anywhere) and you get this:
"[youtube"]IQdnb0iRAQA"
Again, leave out the quotes.--------
"We choose to go to the moon."

Well, I should say that I'm not completely nonchalant.
I'll be a screaming douchebag once the game starts ... but for the first time in my life, it's not as vitally urgent as it was all the times they were in the playoffs before they had a trophy.Last edited by slag; 01-04-2019, 08:50 AM.Obscenity is the last refuge of an inarticulate motherfucker.
