  • Churchill’s famous Gettysburg Address at the steps of Lincoln Memorial

wouldn’t exist today had Sherman Willams chased Lee to the Potomac.

Not even KG could argue this. Lots of rain and sea levels were high.

I thought it was at the steps of the Art Museum in Philadephia.

    Or was that Jason Kelce?

Totally disagree. Even if Sherman Williams had chased Geddy Lee into a river, Churchill was giving that speech no matter what. It might have changed the tone, though.

Geddy Lee sent Col. Sideburns to get the Monitor and the Marriack up the river for transporting the union troops but it was too late!!!

No way Churchill gives that Address.

Churchill would have holed up in his Williamburg time-share, monitored troop movements on his e-Machine, passed the time watching basebore and waited them out. Come hell, high water, or Texas, and with God as his witness, the address would have gone on, dammit.
