It's not really about going too far. I just think that Lane tries too hard to act like he "doesn't give a damn" in general. It's obvious that McNabb was sensitive about Foles and is about Wentz, but he never said that Wentz wouldn't make it out of the second round.

That being said, it's interesting to see Brandon Graham take Lane Johnson's side on social media...

Seems pretty clear the current players don't like McNabb or think he's a good ambassador for the team. I'm sure they have their reasons, especially guys like Lane and BG who have been here for awhile.

You touched on my issue with McNabb as an ambassador for the Eagles - he doesn't publicly support the current players!! He's entitled to his opinion but he seems to really struggle with embracing any organizational success that doesn't involve him. Sometimes I wonder if he was even rooting for the Eagles in SB 51.

He has such a different relationship than so many other former players who stick around the city and the organization. The guys who work for WIP, Comcast, etc. are all critical when warranted, but they all bleed green and it shows when the team is doing well. That has never seemed to be the case with him.
