Yeah...so would it be safe to say that the NBA's product has now sucked for 40 years?

You know, the NBA isn't really my thing, but I find it hard to begrudge other people for enjoying it. The NBA is at it's worst, IMHO, when it falls into a dynasty rut, which seems to happen often (league eras seem marked by them), but when things get wide open and the local squad is competitive, I'm intrigued.
