The point of his post is that the Eagles had to have watched every minute of film on Dillard (and by extension, Dillards QB Winshew) since they traded up in the first round to grab him, but they somehow believed Thorson graded better than Winshew.

Point being, the scouting department should have had an edge on recognizing Winshews ability given their obvious familiarity with the prospect.

You know that the guy the Eagles selected is now on the Cowboys? And I suspect his value to them lies solely on the fact that he can detail the Eagles’ playbook to their coaching staff.

Knocking down Minshew for what could occur in the future doesnt make the decision to pass on him a sound decision.
