    This is silly

Yeah for the 100 or so loons out there that think the government is going to get them, you might be right. But for the millions of rational gun owners or potential gun owners, the knowledge that islamic terrorists are out there in our country willing and ready to kill us and our families... even more guns and ammo will be purchased.

Yeah, it's silly to think a gun is a guarantee of defense against a suicidal terrorist. I believe the cop that was killed at MIT was armed.

Doesn't prove sh*t. But I wonder if more innocent people are killed by guns or if more innocent people are defended by guns.

In my mind, the value of guns was for hunting. Never saw any value to them in a suburban or urban environment.

I'm not gonna get into this again

I was only countering the notion that somehow this incident would decrease the sales of guns and ammo in this country, which is highly unlikely. Already evidence to the contrary

But don't you think that's an important question? Are you more likely to be killed/wounded/maimed by a gun or defended by one?

I think the value of guns is for hunting and no good comes of pointing one at another human being.

Cop should have tazed his ass.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

What is ironic is that 2 people were killed by guns and only 3 by the bomb itself.
