  • Cole Wins -- Cole Wins!

The Phils scored five in the seventh to beat the Marlins 6-1. Ryan Howard had a triple (honest) and Dominic Brown had his 18th home run.

Oh yes -- they pinch hit for Cole Hamels in the inning -- his gets his second whole win of the season (struck out 11 -- maybe he's comin' back). Phils' fourth straight win, they're at .500 for the first time since April 14 and they're tied for second in the division.

    Oh ye of little faith.

.500 is good at this point.

But they have to win 60% of the remaining games to reach 92 wins,

              Bull Cookies!

I've been the voice of reason this season while the whiners have been crying that the season was over!

              They jumped ship long ago!

Great! Now I can't watch the replay on MLBTV without knowing how it ends up!

                Thanks a lot, Kelly Green!

                    Anytime, Boss

If you lived in Philadelphia you could watch it live.

Except for this little thing called a job. I can watch the game live anywhere on MLBTV.

Edit- Does Kelly Green even know that MLBTV is?

Kelly, the big baseborel fan, didn't know the game was nationally broadcast on MLB Network today.

                            Nor Do I Care

Considering how the Phillies are the only Major League team that means anything to me, footing the bill for the MLB Network would be the biggest waste of money in history especially since Comcast broadcasts all the Phillies games.

MLB Network is free, if your cable provider isn't Shitnet, and you spring for just about anything above basic.

More importantly, a plugged-in member of the sports media should know what's being broadcast nationally.
