  • High School Harry already losing the team?

Leonard Weaver says so. At least some of them.

Sure there are plenty of ways to write this off - starting with what does Leonard Weaver matter? But I don't think you can lay it all on Vick. Cary Williams has been far from a model citizen. Same with Shady.

Not totally surprising that some of the vets wouldn't buy into all the college stuff. Chipper better start laying down the law.

Sounds like it's Vick mouthing off via Weaver to me.

Chipper can lay down the law by cutting him. That would certainly send a message.

And I would follow this up by noting that a lot of the degradation of the team ethic and players starting to start trouble under Reid (FF) started right after they signed Vick.

A lot of players might like and respect Vick but if you are coach/management I think he's not the role model you want them to follow.

Chipper should cut him or trade him if possible.

        There. I'm on the record.

Most likely. But Kelly made the call to keep Vick around and it's Kelly's fkkk-up if Vick sours the team.

Know who was losing his team 4-5 years ago?

              Tom Coughlin.

He docked people for not being early enough to meetings.

              EARLY enough.

They bitched and moaned in the paper ... hated him ... he was losing the team ... oops, two Super Bowls.

              Go figure.

I wonder who opens a Twitter acct for some of these idiots. Talk talk talk themselves right out of a job. Their agents should slap an embargo on them .

Coughlin had been to a couple conference championship games with the Jags and been named coach of the year before that. Also had taken the Vags to the playoffs. Great comparison otherwise.

I think our only concern when Chip signed on was whether he needed an athletic QB at the helm. Drafting Barkley and giving Foles the slight edge in reps signals that's not true. I'm not sure where Vick fits on this team if Foles (or Barkley) is the starter

First of all, I don't buy your horseshit take to begin with .... a qb acting like a diva is not something unique to a coach who just came into the league.

However, my point is that, if true, disgruntled players are disgruntled players.

Losing the team is losing the team.

And Coughlin was supposed to be losing his, on more evidence than Leonard fucking Weaver's opinion about rhythm and leadership.

Your comparison is horseshit. Kelly doesnt have any NFL stature at all much less what Coughlin had.

Vick can blow this team up. Looks like he plans to if he doesnt get his way. Give him what he wants or cut him loose.

My comparison is right on the fucking money.

Vick would be just as pouty if the coach who was having an open competition was Tom Coughlin.

And the players who followed him or the coach would be the same.

Where does Weaver say the players aren't buying into "the college stuff"?

If Chip is losing the team based on having an open competition at certain positions, my concern would be which players are opposed to that, not the coach's methods.
