I hope fracking isn't allowed anywhere near the Hudson River and the surrounding watersheds and aquifers. That would be an epic f-up.

... if it's still going on in PA, I wonder how close it is to watersheds and aquifers serving Philadelphia... and how it might impact the Susquehanna, too?

It seems tooo risky to mess with aquifers. Water is becoming even more of a commodity with the trends towards global warming and a global increase in population over the decades.
