Slizz mentioned pre-season games. Often playing well means winning them.

Teams don't run their full schemes in the preseason, especially defensively, so I don't think we should make any major judgements about that. Winning in the preseason doesn't mean shit - I think with the preseason you have to look at how individuals are playing. A good preseason for me is no major injuries and a few question marks stepping up and making a name for themselves.
