Wasn't that 50 year old Blaine Bishop at safety that got torched on that play?

Wasn't Blaine Bishop beaten like a drum on that play as well???

or was that just in general all day? I purged that part from my memory.

I can still see Jurevicious running free, though. Nobody is within 20 yards pf him.

          He's still running.

DIDN'T HE HAVE BAD KNEES BEFORE

he went to DC? So FF should have paid him what Snyder offered, which is what it comes down to? One of those big contracts FF didn't agree to that ended up being the right choice.

But keeping washed up guys like Bishop and Kirkland on cheap wasn't a difference? The bottom line is that you have a pro-bowl LB and a leader and you let him off.

If the Eagles let him go and brought him back don't you think it was more about money than what he brought to the table on the field?

                WRONG

He was playing at a high level here on creaky knees, signed a big contract down there then suffered a season ending knee injury it took a season and a half to rehab from. You act like he went down there as the same player and underperformed. we all know (except you, apparently) what happened.

Jim Johnson built his entire defense around Trotter's skill set, the primary one being playing downhill and blowing up running plays. That's why Kirkland, the Trotter prototype, was brought in, and while Levon is denigrated here primarily for a play for which he was not on the field, the Eagles' defense that season actually was statistically the best of the Jim Johnson era. Washington played Trotter as a read-and-react MLB, which he really wasn't suited for as Ray Rhodes believed.

Meanwhile, FF tried to replace JT with Simoneau, who was equally unsuited to Jim Johnson's vision.

The knees were just "creeky" when he left here. That puts a whole new perspective on things. Hell, if the knees were only "creeky" then they shoulda opened up Lurie's vault instead of letting him escape to Snyder. Thanks because you are right, I wasn't aware he was only creeky kneed begfore he left.

Just because you repeat yourself doesn't make you right

just keep ignoring the fact his production dipped in Washington because of the knee injury he suffered there.

OK, get your dumb last word in. Everyone knows what happened.
