... stiffs for receivers. These are the kind of receivers McNabb had to play with for the first half of his career. Testament to his mad skills those teams ever sniffed the playoffs, let alone the super bowl.

For receivers. Their scheme and his ACCURACY enabled them to be successful. I'm speaking about his sb winning teams of course (pre moss). I will concede that the Eagles wr's were worse but it's not like NE had anything amazing. The eagles were exceptional or above average at every position but wr (lb before trotter came back) and the nfc was weak. I give Mcnabb his due, he carried a load but things were just right for them to make a run, they should have gotten better receivers. Na Brown and Freddy Mitchell were killers.

And we had the cap room to bring in a top receiver. Yet rat and FF knew best.

As bad a rap as McNabb gets (and deserved in many ways as things went on), he really did save Reid's bacon on a huge number of occasions. The Eagles totally wasted a primo defense and a dangerous quarterback by running out such garbage in the receiving corps.

Yeah -- McChunky's "Mad Skills" -- If You Recall...

...those mad skills also included the ability to run.

But the guy with the mad skills wouldn't run because of his warped conviction that he would not be known as a running quarterback.

Thus he chained himself to the pocket and was a stationary target. When he did roll out he held the ball praying somebody would get open even when he had green in front of him, and instead of throwing the ball away, he ran out of bounds behind the line thus giving the defense a sack anyway.

                Yeah -- mad skills.

Yeah, You Got That Right -- Had One More Skill, Too

No quarterback in the history of the game was more skilled at smiling and laughing on the sidelines while his team was getting it's ass kicked.

Well lookee here ... the two of you have something moronic in common.

McNabb is the best fucking quarterback to ever play for the Eagles.

                      It's a fact.

Please get back to fighting ... it's more amusing.

                          Sig line - remove it

McNabb had shit at WR, you can spin it however you like but the facts are the facts.

When FF passes 60%+ of the time you need quality at the position, we didn't have that.
