It was their fault that none of these teams had ideal backup QBs--or shaky starting QBs when they played them?? You can only play the team that's next up on their schedule. I don't think anyone is blaming the Eagles. But people are still a bit suspicious of how far the defense has really come.

I agree. I am happy the defense is playing well. What I wanted to see this season was improvement and I think they're showing improvement. I just think it's early to assume that they've arrived as a defense. They've faces somewhat dubious competition however I think it's probably helped their confidence.
