  • Intentional Grounding

All intentional grounding penalties that happened in the 2013 season, viewed by teams.

Interesting stat. Eagles lead the league in causing intentional grounding with 7 penalties caused. The next best team has forced 3.

Eli had 3 in one game and 4 in the two games combined, I think Rivers had one, and Pryor had one and I believe that Romo had the other one.

Outside of crippled RG3 in the 1st game

Eagles D have been beating shitty QBs all season. Nothing to hang their hat on here. Eagles are 24th in sacks.

So it's the Eagles fault for how teams were playing when it was their turn to play them? It was their fault that none of these teams had ideal backup QBs--or shaky starting QBs when they played them?? You can only play the team that's next up on their schedule. If they're playing shitty, that's their fault, not the Eagles. If the Eagles hadn't won those games, you'd be on here complaining how they couldn't beat those shitty QBs.

I don't think anyone is blaming the Eagles. But people are still a bit suspicious of how far the defense has really come.

Save your breath Bobby. There are people on this board who I think get enjoyment when the Eagles lose or play bad. It makes them feel better about their own miserable existence.

I agree. I am happy the defense is playing well. What I wanted to see this season was improvement and I think they're showing improvement. I just think it's early to assume that they've arrived as a defense. They've faces somewhat dubious competition however I think it's probably helped their confidence.
