Listen man. I been down on Foles before. I was skeptical because of what his limitations are. But he is walking in the footsteps of Drew Brees. It's obvious. He may not be a superstar but the Eagles can win with him. He is cool under pressure and that trait can't be understated. His physical capabilities limit Kelly's offense in some ways, but his decision making expands what Kelly can do. So it's a trade-off. But he can win. That has been established.

Foles had an iffy first half, but so did Brees, their stats were similar except that Brees threw two picks and Foles threw a TD. In the second half he played better, once Chip found some weak spots and when needed he brought us back to take a lead. Ten year vet compared to a guy starting his 17th game. Game plan, play calling, and a D that could not stop the run against a bad running team is why they lost. BTW the Saints had the 4th ranked D in the league this year, and Foles kept us in the game until the very end.

Chip didn't find any weak spots. There DB who was covering him went out and foles threw two jump balls; the first Jackson stepped out of bounds and outfought the guy for, the second was a 50 yard PI. Foles is a glorified Alex smith.

Of course he is not the worst player. That title is reserved for Henery or Chung, take your pick. he is supposed to be the leader of this team. He is supposed to be the face of this franchise. Foles will be the QB, he has room to grow, but you only have your feeble talking points. Does it make you feel important to be viewed as an utter asshole?

He was clutch--brought them back from 13 points down. When he left the field, the Eagles had the lead. I blame Kelly's play selection for the sack. You go for it on 4th and 1 by running it. So why not run it on 1st down? The last 2 weeks, the Boys and Saints snuffed out the screen game. That screen to Celek was a bad call. Either Celek should have dropped it or Foles should have thrown it at his feet. I dont call a 105 passer rating in your first playoff game, in the 17th start of your career sucking. Could he have been better?? Sure, but so could the defense and STs.

To your other points, yes, Chung and Henery did have tough games. I'm sure that management will look to upgrade there.
