Anyone playing opposite DJax would have the stats Cooper had this past season.

Maclin had more receptions in his first four seasons than any receiver in the history of the Eagles. Stating that Cooper is better than Maclin is just blatant cluelessness.

You want a big receiver? Draft one third or fourth round and don't worry about having to pay him what Cooper is probably going to want.

At no point has anyone in this thread said that Cooper should be let go because of what he said. You're the only person even bringing that up.

We don't need an upgrade over Cooper necessarily, he's just replaceable if they do let him go. Cooper is easier to replace than Maclin, and if you don't see that, then the only person caught up on making moves purely based on race is you homeboy.

bottom line is...NOBODY in this thread has given solid football reasons for wanting to keep him. Its "chemistry" with Foles or "he stayed on the field"...Cooper ranked last in the league among starting wideouts in catches through the first eight games. HES NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

I can't speak for Georgie, but I don't hate Cooper.

I'm just realistic about what he is and what he is worth $$$ wise. If they don't get him at the right price, let him walk. He's not worth big bucks, and any team that pays him like he is will be regretting it rather quickly.

I'd love to see Maclin and Coop both on the team, but if it's an either/or, I'm 150% making Maclin priority #1. Especially with what Ertz can become.
