So do suicides. Fantasy land. Even including suicides, your argument doesn't hold water. Gun death rate per 100,000 was 14 in the 1980s and early 1990s. If more guns = more gun deaths the rate should be 20 by now, instead it is 10. Your model fails.

Don't be too hard on him, he is going by all of that "crack" investigative journalism that he has been telling us about.

You really want to skew the numbers, take out the cites that have the strictest gun rules and regs, Chicago, Detroit, New York, etc.

Then see what the stats tell you about all of the rural people, that all have 20 guns each.

How about, people are going to shoot people with guns and hurt other people regardless of how many times it's brought up on igglephans.

You guys all live in a different world from me, and don't seem to realize there are different worlds out there, so I will have no more comment.

I'm done talking about it. If people in other parts of the country have an epidemic of people killing each other with guns, they'll do what they think they should do.

I found my way to a place where they don't have such a problem. 12 year old boys carry .22 rifles along the dirt road that leads to my home. Every house is a multi-firearm household. There hasn't been an incidence of gun violence that didn't involve a wild animal or a rattlesnake since nobody can quite remember when. What they're doing here is working just fine.

I don't care to debate my God given right to keep what I deem essential to preserve the well-being of my family. Therefore, I won't.
