The Jets played in Shea Stadium for 20 years. Airplane noise won't be an issue.

I've seen jets come in REALLY LOW over the Linc during games.

The Linc is pretty close, but not directly in the flight path. And they are really low at that point in their approach. I have a great view of them from my seats.

It's enough to be disturbing. But jet noise isn't a problem

Not directly in the flight path?! Every single flight I've taken, the landing takes you right passed the Linc. You can see into the stadium if you're sitting on the right side of the plane.

So you define "directly" as off to the left?
