Wrong. My family is from Paulsboro. My sibling teaches and coaches there. I know the coach. It's homegrown talent. Nothing like St. Anthony's as far as recruiting. Not even close.

non public schools can freely recruit. Public schools do it sometimes but not on the same scale. they must fund a way for the kid to live in the district. I think the key here is Paulsboro has a sizable black population and the Phillipsburg assholes are just going straight pure racist hate crime here.

John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

If anyone here is saying that the Paulsboro wrestling roster is made up of homegrown kids from paulsboro only and no one moves unto that area for the purpose of wrestling for that school ..email me quick. I have a gold mine in Hoboken I want to talk to you about.

I know several generations of wrestlers in Paulsboro. I've had family wrestle for Paul Morina for decades. You're talking out your ass. Please stop.

Christ on a crutch, we agree on something.

                        Fuck me.

And of course some kids may move into the area to be coached by one of the all time great wrestling coaches in the country. But to say that Paulsboro's wrestling program is akin to a parochial school that recruits across state lines is simply asinine.

Exactly. It just doesn't work that way with public schools. At least not in this area. Maybe its different with football in Florida and Texas. I know when I played lax you either went to private school (Delbarton, Pingry) or PG'd at Lawrenceville or Peddie if you were angling toward college and didn't have a good public team or couldn't recognition. My team was always top 5 in the state and, a few years after I left, set the state record for consecutive wins, over several seasons. Was ranked in the top 5 nationally. Never had a single recruit.

What's even more impressive is how a school that typically had a graduating class of less than 100 students produced so many NFL players (Isaac Redman, Willie Anderson, Kevin Ross, Gerald Hodges, Alex Silvestro). I think my school, located the town over, produced zero.

For what it's worth, in Monmouth County, the public school girls' basketball powers all recruit. Part of it is having to compete with the two biggest parochial school programs in NJ, but it's also about keeping AAU programs together. Neptune, Marlboro, and Rumson are all recruiters.
