That being said, I like the way Parker had a nice game. He'd be a nice consolation prize if the Sixers had to pick number two.
    Wiggins > Parker?

Because as of now I think Parker has been outperforming Wiggins. Still think Wiggins has more potential though.

      Oh please yourself.

There's home cooking and then there's home cooking that decides the game at the end.

You swallow the fucking whistle there ... and it was written all over the faces of the officials after the play.

Shit, Boeheim ran to the middle of the floor and the guy who made the call didn't tee him up until he kept screaming in his face ... that ref knew he fucked up.

Like GS I thought it could have gone either way. Most refs swallow their whistle in that situation regardless.

Edit: Was typing my reply as you posted yours ^^^

It was an easy block call. It's been a block all season including earlier in the game. The series before that Christmas was fouled on a dunk and they swallowed the whistle there. I don't get it. More times than not the home cooking happens at Duke regardless of the opponent. It's gotta stop. The game should be decided on the court not by a whistle.

You have to have both feet planted, facing the opponent and be stationary before the opponent in is the air... the guy was not stationary ... he was moving into Fair as he was in the air going to the hoop.

Every commentator I've seen has said it was a bad call under the new rule.

The worst a good official does there is swallow the whistle.

You don't want to give the foul shot to Fair in Cameron?

Fine ... that's acceptable home cooking, but you do not call a fucking charge.

And, as I posted elsewhere, you could tell from the expression on the face of every ref on the floor they knew it was a fuck up.

Take off your orange tinted glasses.

One referee's call doesn't determine the outcome of a game.

But come on...the Parker put back and foul was a joke. The charge was so sooooo not there. 4 fouls on every big body enabled Hood and Sulaimon to go off... That was like 2 15 yard interference penalties in a 14-14 game...you just can't call shit like that. And to the people barking that it's "make up calls from the 1st game..." GTFO...what a dumb thing to say.

BUT Not really even mad. A total Cameron job. Go Cuse, baby.

Uh huh, that's what I meant.

You don't take the game out of the players' hands at the end on a call like that.

And I'm pretty sure you know it ... just like every guy on the ESPN college b-ball studio team did.

But it appears you have ratface-tinted glasses.

This consternation was missing at the end of the game at the carrier dome. As I said at the time, you guys got home cooking up there and Duke would get it in Cameron. As mentioned above, the no-call on Hood was just as bad / if not worse.

Neither team played nearly as well last night. Syracuse can't shoot, and Duke can't play any interior defense.

Maybe the classless should take note.

If its not charging, then what should be the case? A blocking call and Syracuse gets to take the lead??

                            A no call because ??

I subscribe to the "let them play" theory at ends of games. Kind of how PI and Illegal contact never gets called on a Hail Mary. Is it a theory that covers everything in every situation? No. Duke got fucked because a ref swallowed his whistle, I guess it's a bit of justice served.

Under the new rule, the defender has to be in position when the offensive player begins his move to the basket; it's no longer when he is in the air. When that video starts, Fair has already begun and Hood's knees are still moving. Bad call.
