    I dont get it.

But I didn't get it with Wilt, Dick Allen, or TO, either. OK, maybe I do.

I really like DJackson as a player but his whining is over the top at times for the value he provides at this point and the dollars he will be looking for. Be sure you will hear the whining all season long as he does not get the looks he thinks he should to boast his numbers to get the Eagles to tear up that contract and give him a whopping new big one.

Personally im tired of that BS. So if they got a chance to trade to a team that thinks he is the missing piece to Super Bowl for good value i would see them doing it in a heart beat. Someone like San Frans 2nd round picks for him.

Who here thinks hes going to be easier to trade next season after a year of whining. It would amaze me if we were to get value for him. I could see him just eventually being cut. Which they could do without a huge cap hit.

Bottom line who here would not trade Djackson for 2 2nd round picks - knowing they they could use one of them to move up and draft a player like Marquise Lee who would quickly make you all forget about the Whiner very fast and still have two 2nd round picks to address the defense in this draft. Lee is as fast - bigger and a good route runner.

So the discussion of this possibility is not that far fetched. Do i think the Eagles would do it they get a chance I hope so. They can address defense in this free agency spreading the money around wisely -- going after one teams fAs -- Chris Clemons excellent coverage S and a hitter - and prob the best DT in the business Randy Starks

All of the above and signing Jones and drafting some studs for 2nd round on would be the icing on the cake of a very productive off season for Chip Kelly

        Like Jeff Maehl?

I agree that Kelly would prefer a WR who blocks like a beast, but more than anything, he prefers talent. They led the league in rushing last year, first year in the system, with DJacc out there. If he keeps taking the top off the defense, I don't think Chipper will be too worried.

I wouldn't trade him for 2 2nd rounders. He's in his prime and coming off a career year in his first season under Chip. To say that Lee is as fast as Jackson is just wrong. Lee will be a better version of Steve Smith (not the panthers' Smith either). He could be a good player, but he won't be Jackson. The only receiver in this year's draft that can (possibly) do what Jackson can do is Sammy Watkins. I like Evans too, but he's a totally different type of player. Stand pat with your weapons at wideout. We get rid of DJax and we don't have a #1 receiver on the roster.

Lee is going to be the typical USC receiver that doesn't make it. Over-fucking-rated.
500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

I'd totally support that. Thought it was great when Lynch did it, and the media is totally screwing with DJax hoping he'll throw a tantrum and generate a headline.

Last season they totally blew out of proportion his honest answer about him thinking he had a great season and DARING to wish out loud he could make more money as a result. Now they're actually just making shit up and treating it like a story.

                            We hate uppity receivers.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

There isn't a fan base in the NFL which wouldn't be singing hosannas to Heaven if their team picked up Desean Jackson. Even Denver's. You think Peyton Manning wouldn't enjoy throwing underneath routes to Jackson in stride?
