If he did, would you still want him gone ? The guy is a bonafide threat to score every time he's out on the field. why would you NOT want a guy like that in a Chip Kelly offense ??

So you believe in a offense that spreads the ball around. DJackson is worth better than 10.5 million. HERE IS A FUCKING CLUE HE THINKS SO

He is the third highest paid wr in the league right now
Is he worth the highest base salary of any wr in the league

YOU TELL ME HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT TO pay a very good wr I agree but one that will not be carrying the load because the load in this offense is spread around.

And you want to pay him more - he sure thinks hes worth more

Simply fucking amazing how fans get attached to players and even when it starts to be become OBVIOUS its time to move on from that player they painfully cling to that player - example for a different reasons 5 -- and QBDK

You're fucking brutal. You just regurgitate any and every piece of bs you read from a beat writer or a draftnik/rumor site and then act like you A) have any fucking clue what you're talking about and B) those who don't act like a mindless sheep like you are wrong.

I didn't see your pathetic ass saying a damn word about getting rid of DeSean until the local media completely fabricated the rumor. After they did the fabrication, you sprung in to action spewing your typical BS.

The next original thought you have about the NFL that is not based off something a beat writer tells you to think will be your first.

What the fuck is wrong with you? The topic came up in this room, I like others investigated it and what that writer wrote has merit. Fact is Djackson is the 3RD HIGHEST PAID WR IN NFL FOR 2014 AND he thinks hes getting screwed - SO YOU TELL GURU OF THE GRIDIRON - WHAT SHOULD HE BE PAID in the next contract - should he be the highest paid ?

Yes, when a player who wont turn 28 until December comes off a career year, it's fucking obvious that it's time to get rid of him. Just imagine if the 49ers had cut Joe Montana in 1984. They'd have 12 Super Bowls by now. If we go 2-2 in the preseason, we should consider firing Chip.

Dude, just stop. He never said he was going to hold out. He's paid how he should be paid. The fact that you think you can replace him with some bullshit USC receiver that ran a 4.52 tells us all we need to know about your understanding of the offense.

Fact...DeSean's contract is in no way hindering them from making ANY moves at this moment. They aren't the Saints, Steelers or Cowboys struggling to even be under the cap. They're locking up their own players, shopping in FA for the right players and don't need to worry about the Rookie Pool at all.

Why does his contract, that isn't affecting next season at all, got you so butthurt?

DeSean is coming off a career year and makes life easier for every single player on the offense, from Foles to Shady to the other WRs. He makes Chip's life as a playcaller easier.

Nobody is saying that DeSean is going to be an elite WR forever, but right now, he is. Anyone who thinks it's "obvious" he needs to go is an absolute moron, but we already knew that about you.

Ok here is hoping DJackson has a great 2014, hoping he doesnt hold out, doesnt whine about the number of looks and targets he is getting.

If Maclin is back in form be sure his targets will drop. Djackson is already going to be the third highest paid wr in the nfl next season. He should shut up and play hard. Right now the Eagles have the second largest amount of cap tied up up at the wr position. This is a team that does a good job of putting points on the board. I would like to see more of the money dedicated to the defense.

Guess we see how it plays out

As far as Lee goes - he will be drafted in the top 20 and will be a number one wr for someone
Most likely to draft him - Ravens or Jets -- guess we see how this plays out in a few years.

                      Please remember the discussion.

The guy just had a 1,300 yard season and scored 9 times

yeah, pardon me if I get "attached" to a player who puts up those kind of numbers. You on the other hand, want to send him out of town on the first thing smoking. Funny, how you aren't chirping about Riley Cooper getting more cash.......

is inconsistent and injury-prone. Maybe he turns into a superstar and you'll get your ITYS but only a complete idiot would get rid of a proven superstar for a question mark when there are so many better things they could do with their first pick.

How many USC games have you even watched? Or are you just getting off to youtube highlights, if anything..
