Many like you seem to have some sort of vendetta against Cooper cuz he proved the doubters wrong and made you look foolish. He has nothing to do with Jackson's situation, and his name shouldn't even be brought up. Jackson obviously has pissed the wrong people off and is a diva that whines about making 10 mil a year...this and flashing gang signs and other character/locker room cancer issues are the reason why they are entertaining offers. I like his big plays and he is exciting to watch but if all this locker room stuff is true, he is a me guy not a team guy he can go.

keep harping on this, you provide no proof, ever. You can't just say Jackson was a big part of Cooper's success with no evidence. What specifically did Jackson do that helped Cooper? He wasn't getting doubled all game every game, he was getting safeties sliding his way sure, but that is all I saw. I would say Cooper's success(as well as all the receivers) had more to do with the awesome running game taking attention away from the passing game.

Bottom line, they had more weapons than pretty much anyone in football last season. You're a defensive coordinator. Eagles are next up on your schedule. Are you gonna focus the double team on Cooper or Jackson ?

Edit : Shady was definitely a huge factor as well, but if there's no DeSean jackson, I can't imagine a coordinator not stuffing the box and letting a db go one on one with Riley Cooper.
