Terp, I think you answered you own question, I think it is more of a TEAM dynamic under Chip than it ever was under AR, every facet contributed something, gameday coaching was probably the biggest upgrade.

I hope like hell DJ stays, as long as he doesn't pout all year and cause problems in the locker room. I don't see replacing him with anyone better right out of the box.

I think DeSean would have had an ok year, not a career year, if Riley Cooper didn't emerge as a quality NFL WR, but Riley Cooper wouldn't have emerged as a quality NFL WR without DeSean.

Either way, this team should not be considering breaking them (plus Maclin) up just as they're all hitting their stride.

Reasonable people may disagree but the NFL is a players league, not a coaches league. Seattle has great players and at least on defense, play a very simple system. It takes talented players to play the way the Seahawks do. They eschew complex zones and all the malarkey of JJ style blitzes and play tight man. And win doing it.

There is a lot more to coaching than just X's and O's. Part of the reason the Seagulls players execute so well is because they are so well coached.
