I don't know the man but it sure seems to me right after ending the season after one playoff game. A season that really in the beginning had no big expectations, a good teammate who is under contract would be talking about next season. Talking about how to improve the team to go further instead of his own personal contract. Especially when that player is currently the 3rd highest paid wr in the league. I think it has everything to do with the fact that the Eagles have the second highest amount tied up in their wrs.

Jackson is the highest paid player on the team. Is his production or projected production worth being the highest paid player on the team? I don't think so.

The Cap is a reality. With others derserving an increase who does it go to. Maybe Djackson would take a pay decrease with more guaranteed?

The speculation that this is about anything other than dollars and cents is possible but I don't see it. What Jackson and his agent are saying to the Eagles front office and the press could be two different things. Remember his current agent gets nothing until Jackson gets a new contract. Agents want to be paid too.

If he whines all year about his looks because the ball is spread around by Nick in this offense and his production is average I could see it happening. Why not see what they can get. I agree I would rather have Jackson on this team this year. He is a demands the respect of defenses but I believe the diversity of this offense is what really makes it hum. Would he be missed I am sure he would but would he be irreplaceable NO AT ALL/
