It seems extreme that Jackson would be traded over that the possibility that he might cause waves because he'd like a new contract. Unless he gets cut, doesn't he still make $10 million in 2014?

If he's really on the trade block it's more likely that they don't think he's worth his current contract for football and non-football reasons - not that he isn't happy with his contract.

Unless the problems he's causing are on par with Richie Incognito in terms of locker room divisions and PR nightmares, I wouldn't want to consider trading him until next year after Maclin and any draftees have had a chance to play for Kelly.

If there really are legs to this rumor either Kelly must really think he's replaceable and/or there is something hidden going on that no one knows or is talking about.
