They can't say that he doesn't "fit the system". After the year that he just had, he's PERFECT for this system. They can't say that he's not "buying in". Once again, after the numbers he put up last year, what wide receiver wouldn't want another shot at going out and doing it again ? Even with the Eagles having the league's leading rusher, Desean still had 1,300 yards receiving and scored 9 times. You don't think he wants to try and duplicate that ? If it's about the money and his wanting more guaranteed cash from what he is still owed, then Diggle is absolutely correct that Chip really doesn't know how to manage grown ass men who pull down a paycheck. You don't let your second best offensive weapon just walk over some dumb shit like this.

Who do you have more faith in regarding the Eagles offense operating at a high level - Chip Kelly or Desean Jackson?--

So you're fine with them just letting one of the team's best players walk ?

Who said that he doesn't want to play ?

EDIT : Did DeSean Jackson ever say "I'm not playing for 10 million this year" ?Last edited by Eagle In Ohio; 03-24-2014, 10:36 AM.The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is - Winston Churchill

But if Kelly really had an issue where he thinks he needs to get rid of him - I won't be that upset because Kelly has already transformed the Eagles into a much better team that is fun to watch.
Jackson helped with that but Jackson was on the team when the Eagles weren't fun to watch. He went through his sulking period of not playing hard. He showed flashes and then disappeared.
Kelly has only shown improvement so if he keeps winning he can cut/trade whoever he wants.--

Get real man. Where there's smoke, there's fire. The FO and Kelly aren't that dumb to just trade/cut our best WR for no reason and for peanuts.

He isn't open to restructuring

I'd like Jackson to be kept, but there is no need for him to get more money this year.--

Yeah really
