Reid. No question. He was a good coach but not good enough. If he only ran the ball more they would have won at least two SB's. There were a few seasons in the early/mid 2000's when the Eagles had more player talent than anyone in the NFC hands down.

I often had a feeling each week that there was no way they'd lose. Stopped getting that feeling after 2005. Only thing I can blame Banner for is the bullshit surrounding Trotter in 2002. That cost the team a bit of mojo.

Y'know, I still think something happened to McNabb on that play where Honeybuns forgot the snap count and 5 had to fall on the ball. One of the Pats jumped on his back and I remember thinking at the time, "I hope that didn't knock the wind out of him."

Then we had the puke gag. At least, I'm pretty sure that was the sequence of events. I've never had the will to go back and watch again.

Also, Reid was a dope for going for the onside kick and then neither trying to block nor return the ensuing punt. Totally screwed the pooch. If they kick deep and let Westbrook try to return a punt, they get the ball with 45 seconds left and a chance to get Akers in FG range to tie.
