Add to all that, that he has borderline personality disease, which is 100% a real issue that should be treated like any other sickness, but that is just another thing that could scare away other teams, especially those that don't truly understand mental health issues.

DeSean knows some people who are bad. Eagles got NOTHING for him.

Say what you want about DeSean vs. Marshall as far as talent, style, size or whatever, but there's no denying DeSean is an elite talent in this league and to get NOTHING for him was a complete joke. Whatever their reason may be for getting rid of him, there is zero excuse for getting nothing in return.

I'm not the GM or coach, if they think this is best, so be it, my point is about just losing him for nothing and letting him go to any team he wants now. That's where the fuck up is.

Businesswise here's what happened:

After the season chip and roseclown reviewed their players. When desean was reviewed kelly made it clear he didn't want him. At that point it was roseclowns job to get as much as he could in trade for jackson. Hell, he got a fucking sixth rounder for sopoaga so its not like anyone was asking him to build the eiffel tower. But, instead of just doing what gms do every day roseclown let his negotiations and disdain for jackson dominate the front pages while the amount of compensation he was being offered from rival clubs diminished to zero. At that point the convenient smear article appeared in the press and desean was unceremoniously released for jack shit.

Say what you want about rat face but at least he was competant enough to perform the basic, day to day tasks of his job without fucking them up and looking like a chump. Lucky us, the only thing roseclown learned from rat face was how to smear a motherfucker.

I didn't compare them. I used the one trade as an example of the tasks a real, professional gm is expected to perform. But I find it cute the lengths you will go to in order to obscure roseclowns incompetence.

Sounded a lot like whining to me....Well they didn't really lose him for nothing in my mind, 6.5 in cap space this year and a lot less drama for the long haul...was he doing anything special that was winning us playoff games I missed along the way? Thought not.

Yup, those situations are the same, so keeping a high paid vet in their prime around involves the same line of thinking for both teams.
