An ass in the sense that he doesn't do what he's contractually obligated to do to do - show up for meetings, listen to your boss, don't taunt like an asshole, etc. Every account on him since this happened has said he's not a guy you want other guys on your team emulating. He was also the 4th longest tenured Eagle. Those two things don't go well together, so he's gone.

I'm not a fan of it. He was one of my favorites. But I get it. The question is how does it effect the team's record.

Once again you use cute word-play to advance a bullshit agenda. "Ties" hardly means involvement. No one has been disputing "gang ties." Jaccson even admits that.

I knew a couple of Pagans in high school...

and in the Army met a homie that was one.

Guess that makes me a one percenter.

See I can provide proof. LAPD confirms, this could get ugly.
                  Another anonymous source? Really?

Here's one where the detective attached his name. Det Chris Barling. A real person and a real detective in the LAPD.

Jackson said in a statement that has never been a gang member and on Saturday a detective with the Los Angeles Police Department told the Philadelphia Daily News that Jackson was not linked to gang activity in L.A., his hometown, and is not a suspect in two homicide investigations from 2011 and 2012.

“It’s kind of like ‘Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon,’ ” Chris Barling, a homicide detective, told the News. “When people grow up in neighborhoods where you have gang involvement, you don’t have to look too far before you find a connection to a connection.”
And I suspect Jackson isn't more than two or three degrees separated from Kevin Bacon either.

exactly -- ever think of the possibility that a rival gang could target someone who is a celebrity football player that has ties to a gang they want to go after ?
